Last Call for Toys!

Let’s fill these bins up!

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to our toy drive for Christmas in the City. This local charity serves families living in Boston shelters all year long. During the holiday season, they collect toys to give to the children of these families. If you’d like to contribute, you still have time! The deadline to bring in a toy is this Friday, December 20. Just drop it in one of the bins by the desk in Southie Green. Again, thanks for your support!

Front Squat 245 x1. PR Rushed my last set and dropped 265. I’m predicting 300+ in 2014.

Front Squat: 240×1 (5lb PR). Front rack felt really good but otherwise was feeling a bit shaky. Nice to know a PR is still possible when things aren’t exactly perfect. But, then again, Coach Haley always seems to bring out the best in me.
    “The Chief”:
June 2012: 15 rounds L1 – Actually my notes say L1 but show the L1 weight for women so who knows what I actually did!
    December 2012: 17 rounds L2
I’d be down with doing this WOD again soon.

255# x 1 for the front squat (10# PR). PR bell was ringing this morning. Ben, Jen, Rob, Shane, and I think Jason.
20 full rounds for the WOD. 100 Hollow Rock cash out because Shane and Jason are overachievers and were a good influence on a handful of us after the class. See you Friday for the 12 days of CFS.
