I’m with Joel on this one. I knew right from the warm up that this WOD was gonna take every last bit of my energy! Grueling week of WODs…
WOD: 24:15 @ 65lbs and 50 dubs. And yes, I was still on my 400m sandbag run when the 7pm class started!
On the bright side, I had never before strung together anywhere near as many OH squats as I did today. 16 on the first round and 17 on the second round. And I think I have safely de-goatified T2B! Dubs are definitely the next goat to conquer.

    22:43. 200 singles. 65# for the OHS.
This weeks WOD’s hit me hard. I could tell in the warm up that this one was going to be a struggle.

You know new GI Joe comic books are still being published? Of course I read them on the regular. Shout outs to Scarlett, all-time babe. Middle fingers to Tomax, Xamot, Zartan, Destro, Baroness, Serpentor, and Cobra Commander.

    8/25/12 – 18:41 Rx
    8/9/13 – 18:52 Rx (Personal Worst – ACCOUNTABILITY)

Stalled a bunch of times on the dubs, guessing that’s the big difference from last time. Next year I got this. ANT made a special guest appearance at the 7PM and annihilated everyone.

23:00 with front squats @ 75 lbs instead of OHS, trying to nurse that shoulder. Knees to armpits, 1/2 the dubs and those runs took forever!

15:29 rx. Too slow on TTB, and those last 400m felt like I was carrying Quigley. Plus his two kids.
    Dudley = stupid fast. Wow.

that’s a funny image in my mind. not sure we could all fit in that sandbag though! Maybe a yoke.

take it easy on yourself kelly you were killing it, especially the dubs.

me on the other hand was a complete disaster! OHS were fine, knees to whatever height i could get, 200 singles (just can’t get dubs strung) and my goats head soup, the run sucked

WOD 23 flat, felt like 20 of it was the run! oh yeah have I mentioned how much i hate effing running. next time i’m rowing with the sandbag !!

20:06 Rx. Train wreck. Things went down hill when I used a gym rope (forgot my own) for dubs. Only redemption was unbroken OHS.

    A real American hero WOD

    14:06
Dubs could have been cleaner and would have liked to hit that last set of OHs unbroken but over all pretty happy with today’s performance.

16:36 RX. what a grind. TTB start out fairly quick for me, then disappear. Also, 35# is about what my youngest weighs, so there was something very familiar about carrying that extra weight on my shoulders….I carry my older guy when I want to go ADV (45#).
