We have a suggestion box on the desk of Southie Green and would love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to write down anything you feel would better the environment at CFS. This could literally be anything. It could be as simple as more stretching post WOD or even more of Chuck’s AWESOME jokes. Get creative. We take your suggestions seriously and are always looking to improve your experience at the box.

    Squat Snatch – 65×3. Worked on form today. They improved as the night went on but still have miles to go. Thanks to Arik for the advice.
    WOD: 8:25 #65, T2B. I’m thinking I should have gone heavier.

    I felt like the un-oiled Tin Man. I really tightened up after three days off. Snatches were either too fast (landed right on my butt) or too slow. OHS felt okay but knees to elbow were super slow.

    After 3 squat oriented days in a row, i only managed 65# x2 (60×3). Got in my head.

    First day back after 9 days off and a week-long, booze-filled vacation wasn’t actually as bad as I thought it would be. Wasn’t too speedy but 2 of my biggest goats–(squat) snatches and OHS–went just as well as, if not better than, ever. I do think a bit of rest did this body good!

    Squat snatch: 55, keepin’ it wicked light as this shoulder heals.
